In an interview with an alternative media, French Nobel Prize winner Luc Montagnier claimed that the new strains or variables of the Chinese virus result from experimental COVID vaccines generated in a process known as ‘Antibody-dependent Enhancement.’

Although the interview was on May 18 of this year, recent studies and data from countries with high vaccination rates seem to strengthen his theory, which has been widely criticized as ‘madness,’ ‘nonsense,’ and an outright ‘lie.’

In the interview conducted by Pierre Barnérias of Hold-Up Media in French and subtitled in English by Rair Foundation USA, Dr. Montagnier is asked what he thinks of mass vaccination versus those treatments that are not so expensive and that work well, such as hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, etc.

“It’s an enormous mistake, isn’t it? A scientific error as well as a medical error. It is an unacceptable mistake. The history books will show that, because it is the vaccination that is creating the variants,” the laureate replied.

“For the China virus, there are antibodies created by the vaccine. What does the virus do? Does it die or find another solution?” explains the virologist. “The new variants are a production and result from the vaccination. You see it in each country, it’s the same: the curve of vaccination is followed by the curve of deaths.”

The Nobel laureate added that he himself is conducting tests at his institute with people who contracted the virus after being vaccinated and promised to prove that vaccination “are creating the variants that are resistant to the vaccine.”

When the journalist consulted the virologist on whether it was right to mass vaccinate during a pandemic, his response was ‘it’s unthinkable.’

“It is the antibodies produced by the virus that enable an infection to become stronger,” said Montagnier.

The scientist explained the phenomenon called ‘Antibody-dependent Enhancement’ or ADE for short:

“It means antibodies favor a certain infection. The antibody attaches to the virus, from that moment it has the receptors, the antibodies, we have them in the macrophage etc. It pokes the virus and not accidentally, but because of the fact that they’re linked to the antibodies.”

“It is clear that the new variants are created by antibody-mediated selection due to the vaccination,” Dr. Montagnier said.

According to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) website, the ADE phenomenon occurs when antibodies generated during an immune response—such as the case with vaccines—recognize and bind to a pathogen but cannot prevent infection. Instead, these antibodies act as a “Trojan horse,” allowing the pathogen to enter cells and exacerbate the immune response.

However, CHOP claims that the ADE phenomenon, to which Montagnier attributes the new strains of the CCP virus, has not been seen with COVID vaccines or with the virus itself.

According to the Rair Foundation, other experts also dismissed that COVID vaccines can cause ADE.

Post-vaccination infection spikes

Dr. Montagnier’s theory, while it may not be true, however, considering his track record and reputation—he is considered one of the most authoritative virologists in the world along with Stephen Lanka—the scenario he describes is manifesting itself more clearly as different countries move forward with their mass vaccination agenda.

In Gibraltar for example, the small peninsula in Spain, 99 percent of the vaccine-eligible population received both doses. Despite this, a report dated July 30 shows that cases of infection soared by up to 2,500 times per day compared to the pre-vaccination period.

Iceland, another vaccination ‘paradise,’ where nearly 100 percent of the vaccine-eligible population received their doses, also saw a spike in infection in late July, prompting authorities to again resort to lockdowns and other mitigation measures.

In Israel, according to the director of Herzog Hospital in Jerusalem, 90 percent of coronavirus patients are fully- vaccinated people.

Authorities worldwide explain that the cause behind the re-infections is the ‘Delta variant.’ The health authorities’ solution has been to resort to a third dose to supposedly ‘boost’ protection. However, the move has been criticized as hasty because no regulatory body has approved using a third dose, and there is no data that it can actually ‘boost’ the immune system.

Could the Delta variant be caused, as the Nobel laureate claims, by vaccines? There have been attempts to discredit Dr. Montagnier, by attributing way-out claims supposedly made by him, that were in fact made up.

Viruses naturally mutate to keep infecting people, and the human immune system is also continuously developing antibodies naturally to defend against new mutations. Both scenarios could be occurring simultaneously until proven otherwise.

Interestingly, India, where the Delta variant comes from, also had a similar scenario. Before starting mass vaccination until the end of 2020, several Indian states gave free ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine to the population to prevent severe coronavirus cases, and mortality remained very low in Uttar Pradesh; for example, the mortality rate was 0.26 per 100,000 population.

After February 2021, infections and deaths skyrocketed when the country discarded preventive treatments against COVID and started mass vaccination of the population. India made headlines as one of the countries with the highest number of coronavirus fatalities.

Is mass vaccination the solution?

Professor Sir Andrew Pollard, head of the Oxford Vaccination Group, which advises the British Parliament, said vaccines do not prevent Chinese virus infections. It is  ‘mythical’ to talk about herd immunity with vaccination.

“The Delta variant will still infect people who have been vaccinated. And that does mean that anyone who’s still unvaccinated at some point will meet the virus … and we don’t have anything that will [completely] stop that transmission,” the professor stated according to The Guardian.

Despite all this data, studies, and analysis, there is a ‘consensus’ from mainstream media, experts, and governments worldwide that the solution to the pandemic is mass vaccination.
