On Wednesday, July 8, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) announced to state media that a delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO) will arrive next week and the WHO supposedly hopes to trace the origins of the CCP Virus (COVID-19).
As reported by the Global Times, a media known for boosting the CCP’s propaganda, the visit represents a “wonderful scientific event” aimed at finding the “zoonotic source of the pandemic,” indicating in the first instance that the virus did not originate as a result of genetic manipulation in a laboratory but came from an animal.
According to CCP Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian, the CCP agreed that the WHO officials would be in contact with Chinese scientists and doctors to determine the plan for tracking the CCP Virus, according to Breitbart News.
The visit by the WHO-appointed officials announced by the CCP is the third mission the organization has undertaken in China.
WHO scientist Dr. Soumya Swaminathan told ANI News that this time a thorough investigation is expected to be completed into the origin of the virus that has killed thousands of people around the world and seriously damaged the economies of countries.
Mike Ryan, head of the WHO’s emergency program, said the best place to investigate the origin of the virus is where it came from. “The best place to start is clearly where the disease emerged in humans first, and where the disease emerged in humans first, where the first clusters of atypical pneumonia occurred, was in Wuhan,” Ryan said.
As for the transparency of the CCP in the face of the pandemic, research has shown that through its propaganda apparatus, the CCP has conducted an extensive campaign of misinformation on social networks to evade its responsibility for the outbreak of the virus that originated in Wuhan.
“The disruption caused by COVID-19 has created a permissive environment for the CCP to experiment with overt manipulation of global social media audiences on Western platforms. There’s much to suggest that the CCP’s propaganda apparatus has been watching the tactics and impact of Russian disinformation,” states a report by the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI).
“The Chinese party-state has demonstrated its willingness to deploy disinformation and influence operations to achieve strategic goals. For example, the CCP has mobilized a long-running campaign of political warfare against Taiwan, incorporating the seeding of disinformation on digital platforms,” the document adds.
The WHO has also not been fully transparent in reporting on the pandemic, further demonstrating that it has covered up for the CCP in its duty to publicize the details of the health alarm generated by the CCP virus.
On Tuesday, June 30, it became known that the WHO manipulated the chronology of the first days of the pandemic in a silent manner to clarify that the CCP had not reported the outbreak of the coronavirus on Dec. 31 last year, despite previous statements that the information had been provided.
Keep in mind that on Dec. 31, 2019, Taiwan attempted to notify the WHO through an email alert about the case of infection of seven patients with an atypical pneumonia in Wuhan, the epicenter of the pandemic. However, the email was ignored.
So far, the mistakes of the WHO as the agency in charge of monitoring international alarms caused by pandemics have left numerous complaints and discomfort, more so when the number of deaths in the world due to the CCP virus is over 550,000.
