A toddler was found safe alive in a house where the bodies of two adults were discovered by police on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
Police said a 32-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were found unresponsive inside the house at around 11 p.m., in Henhurst Hill, Burton, Staffordshire.
The couple were named locally as Lana Nemceva and Kiril Nemcev, according to Metro.
A 2-year-old child was found unharmed inside the property and was being cared for by relatives.
Police said the deaths are being treated as unexplained and post-mortems will take place soon.
“Detectives are continuing to investigate this morning following the discovery of two bodies at a property in Burton,” Staffordshire Police said.
