The Presidents Economic Council says taxes are good for average Americans
Larry Kudlow, head of the president's National Economic Council, pushed back against critics who claim the tax cuts benefited corporations more than average Americans.
Kudlow told reporters that the president still supported his picks for the Federal Reserve, as vetting continued.
The White House tapped the former Republican presidential candidate Hermain Cain and conservative commentator Stephen Moore.
Kudlow also cited "good progress," in ongoing trade talks with China.
He said he was "very positive on that," and the key was "steady conversations."
