Today marks the 18th anniversary of the 9 11 terror attacks on the Twin towers in New York City, the Pentagon, and Shanksville Pennsylvania. Nearly 3000 civilian deaths on that day, on American Soil and more than 6000 others injured. Our fight to vindicate those lost continue till today, with nearly 7000 US Military casualties and more than 52 thousand wounded. America was united on that day, but something happened since then. America is no longer united. We are more divided than ever before. Politics has invaded every aspect of our society. And it seems that in the name of diversity, some of our votes have allowed those who do not respect the sacrifices from that day. In New your city, every year since that tragic day, Survivors have read the names and honored family members lost. Nicholas Haros Jr. took seized the moment to remind us all that sitting in the great halls of congress, some may not understand or even care about the meaning of this day. Watch
