President Trump visits a tank plant in Ohio

President Donald Trump arrived in Ohio Wednesday to tour an Army tank plant and raise money for his re-election campaign.

The Lima Army Tank Plant had been at risk for closure but is now benefiting from President Trump's focus on boosting military spending. The president asked Congress for $750 billion for the Pentagon next year, more than what was appropriated in each of his first two years in office. President Trump later attended a campaign fundraiser in Canton, Ohio. President Trumps Trump visit to Lima and Canton mark his 10th trip to the state since taking office.
Ohio was a bright spot for Republicans during last years mid-terms and was a critical swing state during the 2016 presidential elections. Presidents Trumps return to Ohio is his first visit to the state as he begins his campaigning efforts for re-election.
