President Trump talks Jobs and tax cuts in Minnesota
President Trump flew to Minnesota on Monday to highlight the $1.5 trillion package of corporate and individual tax cuts he signed into law in 2017. Meanwhile, U.S. taxpayers across the country rushed to meet a midnight Monday deadline for filing their income tax returns with the IRS.
In a historically Democratic state, President Trump came within 1.5 percentage points of winning Minnesota in 2016. President Trump asked that Farmers struggling from trade tariffs to be patient, he pointed out that tariffs on imported steel have led to a resurgence in the mining industry in Northern Minnesota.
The President also addressed the massive fire that devastated the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris on Monday calling the cathedral one of the Greatest treasures in the world.
