White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow says Tuesday that President Donald J. Trump is being truthful and straightforward when he said both India and Pakistan had asked him to help resolve the long-standing dispute over Kashmir.
[Larry Kudlow, White House economic adviser]:
“No, the president doesn't make anything up. That's a very rude question, in my opinion. I'm going to stay out of that, it's outside of my lane. It's for Mr. Bolton and Mr. Pompeo and the president. So, I'm not going to comment on that. The president doesn't make things up."
Kudlow is optimistic about ongoing Sino-U.S. trade talks, indicating that there could a trip to China.
