When a young girl accused her boss of sexual assault in 1993, even though he was a high profile politician, the mainstream media apparently ignored the allegation. Now a video from 1993 has surfaced, and although the allegation has not been proven, the video adds credibility to her story. It is a clip from “Larry King Live” on CNN, in fact.
On March 25, 2020, Tara Reade, the woman Joe Biden allegedly assaulted 27 years ago, publicly declared that the former vice president, presumptive presidential candidate, did sexually assault her. At the time of the allegations in 1993, Reade had told several of her family members and friends about the assault, although she chose not to make it public.
Reade worked for Biden in 1992 and 1993 for around 8 months, and her complaints about the unwanted touching she was subjected to from Biden fell on deaf ears, so she filed a complaint outside the office to another department. Around that time, Biden attacked her in a corridor and sexually assaulted her.
Last year Reade came out to a local paper and told part of her story, then a few weeks ago she came out with her full allegations.
The New York Times took 19 days to report on the allegations, and CNN 24 days to report on the allegations. Biden’s campaign has denied the allegations, but no word so far from Biden himself.
Kate Bedingfield, his deputy campaign manager, and communications director said, “Vice President Biden has dedicated his public life to changing the culture and the laws around violence against women. He authored and fought for the passage and reauthorization of the landmark Violence Against Women Act. He firmly believes that women have a right to be heard—and heard respectfully,” she said. “Such claims should also be diligently reviewed by an independent press. What is clear about this claim: it is untrue. This absolutely did not happen.”
As Fox News reported, Biden has done 10 TV interviews since Reade made her allegations in March, including three with CNN. Not once during those interviews was Biden asked about the allegations.
Reade was working for Biden when she complained about unwanted touching from her boss Joe Biden. Biden sexually assaulted her in a corridor, and after complaining to others about it, she decided not to make it public.
Recently, a clip from “Larry King Live” from 1993 has surfaced, where a woman spoke about “problems” her daughter was having. Reade has confirmed to Fox News reporters the voice on the tape is her mother’s.

CNN has now published a story of the allegations by Reade, with the focus on how other Democrats are dealing with the accusations, not giving Reade the voice she deserves.
“Top Democratic leaders and allies of Joe Biden are being asked to respond to an allegation of sexual assault leveled against the former vice president by Tara Reade, at a moment when many in the Democratic Party are eager to consolidate support for the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee,” CNN wrote, reported Politico.
The Intercept reported earlier that Reade said her late mother once called into CNN’s “Larry King Live” to discuss her daughter’s “experience on Capitol Hill,” where the alleged encounter with Biden took place. Reade didn’t recall other information, such as the date or even year, and The Intercept managed to dig up a transcript of the call but not the video.
After criticism from media critics and the Republican National Committee (RNC), the liberal network CNN finally broke its silence on Saturday on its own footage purportedly showing the mother of Tara Reade, who accused former Vice President Joe Biden of sexual assault, alluding to the alleged incident.
Reade is one of eight women who have accused Biden of inappropriate touching. She told her story on the “Katie Halper Show” in March. “He greeted me, he remembered my name, and then we were alone. It was the strangest thing,” Reade told Halper. “There was no like, exchange really. He just had me up against the wall.”
Nathan J. Robinson, editor for “Katie Halper Show” commented, “As Joe Biden himself said, “for a woman to come forward in the glaring lights of focus, nationally, you’ve got to start off with the presumption that at least the essence of what she’s talking about is real.” Tara has no stakes in the election; she says she was a Hillary supporter in 2016 and supported Elizabeth Warren in 2020 while she was a candidate. Tara says she simply wants people to know what happened to her.
Donald Trump Jr. tweeted several times about Reade’s allegations Friday evening. “Joe Biden isn’t sheltering in place in his basement bunker because of the pandemic, he’s hiding from Tara Reade,” he said.
