Pittsburgh Pirates star Chris Archer surprised his parents by gifting them a pair of new cars for Christmas.
Archer shared a heartwarming video of the exchange on his Instagram.
His grandmother Donna and step-grandfather Ron Archer became Archer’s legal parents by adopting him when he was 2 years old, UPI reported.
“Never felt more joy than this moment,” Chris Archer said on the post.
In the video, the pitcher led his parents outside to a white Chevrolet sedan and then came the black Chevrolet Camaro.
In 2018, Chris Archer also penned a letter about race where he ended by telling his parents he loved them.
After eight years in the majors, he got a chance to pay them back in a big way.
The veteran right-handed pitcher was set to make $9 million in 2020 and has an $11 million team option with the Pirates in 2020.
