Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to ABC News that Adam Williams, 33, and Amanda Noverr who might be connected to the deaths of a couple from Rumney, New Hampshire, were captured in Mexico sometime Wednesday, Nov. 6, according to KTVX.

Jim Butler, 48, and Michelle Butler, 46, loved to travel and were on a cross-country trip when they decided to camp out on Padre Island, according to family members.

The couple was reported missing, along with their truck and RV last week, and their bodies were discovered in a shallow grave on Padre Island in Texas.

The deaths of James Butler and Michelle Butler are being investigated as homicides, the Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office in Texas said in a release.

Authorities identified Adam Curtis Williams of Logan, Utah, and have issued a warrant for his arrest. They also listed Amanda Noverr of Smithfield, Utah, as a person of interest. The Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office in Texas released a photo of them on Monday.

Police identified Williams and Noverr after the two were spotted on surveillance video driving the Butlers’ pickup truck and trailer into Mexico.

Williams and Noverr were taken to Houston and are in the Harris County Jail. No details of their capture have been released, WMUR reported. An arrest warrant has been issued charging Williams with felony theft.

Investigators could not say if the Butlers were targeted or not and the manner of their death cannot be released at this time, according to CBS Local.

“At this point, we just don’t have enough evidence to show that there even are suspects in the murder. At this point, they are just people that we want to identify and talk to for background in the investigation,” Kleberg County Texas District Attorney John Hubert said.
