In October, the California Teachers Association held a conference that sought to encourage teachers, using highly questionable tactics, to recruit children and teenagers to actively participate in homosexual and transgender organizations, even in secret from their parents.

Abigail Shrier, the well-known Wall Street Journal reporter, claimed to have received documents and audio files, which were “authenticated by three conference participants,” Fox News reported.

The event attended by the teachers was publicized as the “2021 LGBTQ+ Issues Conference, Beyond the Binary: Identity & Imagining Possibilities.”

“We are seeing coaching and deliberate confusion of our young kids when it comes to gender identity,” Shrier said during an interview with Fox News.

Shrier has been outspoken against LGBT ideology since publishing her book “Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters.”

Shrier clearly warned not to underestimate the level of deception and manipulation that many activist teachers can exert on children and adolescents when addressing such complex issues as homosexuality and gender ideologies.

Two teachers who led one of the workshops encouraged others to monitor their students’ internet search histories to identify those with interests associated with homosexual issues and then invite them to participate in the increasingly popular LGBT action spaces in educational institutions.

Several teachers even reportedly read children’s Google search histories for signs of interest in LGBT issues.

“The fact that they were targeting children for these personal invitations to their club is very concerning, and that they were coaching other teachers in the surveillance of students for this purpose is really not something we usually see,” Shrier said.

According to Shrier, the speakers can be heard repeatedly in the audio mocking parents’ concerns and telling teachers that they should not keep track of members of these spaces or movements, so parents can’t know if their children are members.

Keeping parents away from these issues seems to have been one of the most important points highlighted at the event.

Conference attendees spoke at length about ways to subvert parents, suggesting changing the club’s name from “Gay Straight Alliance” to another name such as “Equity Club.”

This trend, repeated across the country, of hiding from parents what goes on inside the classroom and in the movements and activities of educational institutions, has allowed a large number of militant teachers to introduce their radical ideologies to the children without calculating the damage that can be done to them and society.

It is not by chance that in so many School Boards, intense conflicts have been unleashed, even ending in long legal struggles, due to organized parents who reject the idea of staying away from the teachings and methods imposed in their children’s education.
