Fox News host Tucker Carlson, on his Monday night, June 28th show, revealed that an insider inside the U.S. government called him to warn him that the NSA, the national security agency, is intercepting his emails, text messages, etc., to sabotage his show and take it off the air.
In his usual monologue, Carlson began his denunciation by describing how the war on terror under the Biden administration changed and now the new focus is on Americans who oppose the ‘regime’.
The host recalled that last week, reviewing public documents on the prosecutions of the January 6 protesters on Capitol Hill, the FBI knew in advance that riots would occur on Capitol Hill.
Adding to that, an FBI agent confirmed it was true.
“The FBI had sources in that crowd – confidential sources, snitches,” Carlson said. “That’s 100 percent certain. But it is not political protesters that the government is spying on.”
“Yesterday we heard from a whistleblower within the US government that reached out to warn us that the NSA, the national security agency, is monitoring our electronic communications and is planning to leak them in an attempt to take this show off the air,” the host asserted.
“Now that’s a shocking claim, and ordinarily we’d be skeptical of it, it is illegal for the NSA to spy on American citizens, it’s a crime. This is not a third-world country, things like that should not happen in America. But unfortunately, they do happen, and in this case, they did happen,” Carlson added.
The whistleblower repeated to Carlson information about an investigation his team is conducting into a story that has yet to be published and would only be known to someone with access to his emails and text messages.
“The NSA captured that information without our knowledge and did it for political reasons. The Biden administration is spying on us. We have confirmed that,” the journalist exclaimed.
Tucker Carlson has become perhaps one of the few investigative journalists considered ‘mainstream’ who has dared to speak out against vaccines for their adverse effects and deaths; he has harshly criticized President Biden for how the justice has treated Trump supporters who attended the January 6 rally, he is also a strong opponent of illegal immigration and the indoctrination of Americans with the infamous ‘critical race theory’ that teaches people to hate whites.
In his recent monologues, he also called for the resignation of Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, after he testified before the House Armed Services Committee that he wanted to understand the “white rage” that sparked the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
Tucker said Milley was not only a ‘pig’ but also ‘stupid’.
During Donald Trump’s tenure, mainstream media such as CNN, MSNBC, NBC, and many ‘entertainment’ programs such as Saturday Night Live or shows with host Jimmy Kimmel, the former president, was ridiculed, they laughed at his wife Melania’s non-Native American accent. There was even a host who said obscenities about his daughter, Ivanka Trump.
However, there were no allegations that the FBI or intelligence agencies spied on these programs or hosts, nor were there calls for a boycott or had any repercussions other than making some conservative media headlines.
The difference perhaps lies in what is considered politically correct for mainstream media opinion.
What Tucker Carlson did with the allegations
Tucker said on his show that they filed an FOIA request compelling government intelligence agencies to disclose what information they collected about him and his programs. Still, he doesn’t expect to hear back, he said.
“We did it mostly as a formality. We also contacted the press office at the NSA and the FBI. We don’t expect to hear much back, that’s the way that usually goes. Only Congress can force transparency on the intelligence agency, and they should do that immediately.,” the anchor pressed.
“Spying on opposition journalists is incompatible with democracy. If they are doing it to us—and again, they are definitely doing it to us—they are almost certainly doing it to others,” Carlson said.
“This is scary, and we need to stop it right away,” he added.
