Lenexa police are investigating the theft of thousands of meals intended for homeless veterans to celebrate former U.S. servicemen and women.

The 5-by-8-foot trailer containing meals packed by bank employees was stolen sometime between Saturday night and Monday morning. The food was going to be delivered to the Kansas City VA Medical Center Nov. 21.

The trailer has two bumper stickers containing the FISH logo and Johnson County, Kansas, license plate 133 KMA.

Additional information is not available. The incident is under investigation.
