Antony Fauci finds himself at the center of criticism and going through the most disapproving moment in his lengthy career. Several Republican senators expressly called on the health official to “resign his position” or be fired by President Biden. Also, former Trump advisor Peter Navarro accused him of “having blood on his hands” for dismissing the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Virus.

Republican Senators Marsha Blackburn, Marco Rubio, and Tom Cotton are demanding that Dr. Anthony Fauci resigns from his role as America’s top health official during interviews with Fox News

According to the senators, Fauci has “lost the trust of the American people” amid the controversy over the origins of the CCP Virus. “Fauci should resign,” Blackburn said. “And the Biden Administration should ask him to step away from his post.”

For his part Rubio was also critical against the White House official saying:

“For 16 months we have seen Dr. Fauci withhold information, dismiss plausible explanations of COVID’s origin, and outright lie to Congress. He is supposed to be a fact-based public health official, not a pundit distorting the truth to conform with his personal judgment.”

He also reminded President Biden that if it is true that he maintains a commitment to science and truth, he should fire the official for his poor performance.

The timely event that ended up sinking Fauci was the emails released last week revealing his early doubts about the theory that the CCP Virus was leaked from a lab in Wuhan.

In his defense, Fauci responded by saying that the attacks against him “are attacks on science.” This generated even more controversy in the scientific and medical environment.

The White House, far from raising alarms about the leaked information, defended Fauci amid criticism, calling him “an undeniable asset” to the country during the pandemic. President Biden also supported him, saying he had “a lot of confidence” in Fauci.

In one of the published emails reportedly received by Fauci during 2020 from Peter Daszak, director of EcoHealth Alliance linked to China’s Wuhan Institute, it reads:

“I just wanted to say a personal thank you on behalf of our staff and collaborators, for publicly standing up and stating that the scientific evidence supports a natural origin for COVID-19 from a bat-to-human spillover, not a lab release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

However, Biden, after having maligned the lab leak theory since the pandemic began, as did his entire staff, including Fauci, in May acknowledged the possibility of the theory being true and tasked the intelligence community to investigate it.

Former Trump adviser Peter Navarro on Thursday, June 10, posted a strong message against Fauci and the left-leaning CNN on his Twitter account accusing them of negligence for dismissing the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine against the CCP Virus, citing a new study that found that treatments of the anti-malarial drug combined with zinc more than doubled the survival rate of patients hospitalized on a ventilator because of the virus.

“I had 60 million tablets of HCQ that Tony Fauci and @cc wouldn’t allow the American public to use because of their Hydroxy Hysteria.  Blood on @JohnBerman @cnn and Saint Fauci’s hands.  More than 50,000 Americans would be alive today.” He wrote in his statement attaching the study published in Daily Mail.
