Former President Donald Trump reiterated that he could run as a presidential candidate for the 2024 elections, in the interview he held with his daughter-in-law Lara Trump, in Florida.

“You do have hope, that I can tell you. We love our country,” Trump responded to Lara Trump when she told him that she and her supporters hoped to see him back on the campaign trail, according to the video released on March 30.

Lara Trump had previously asked Donald Trump if he would hold new rallies with his voters, and Trump said yes, presenting them as indicators of political success.

“When you have rallies, you know if you won a state. I can tell if we’re going to win a state by a rally. When we set up a rally 24 hours before and we have 35, 40,000 people show up—in Florida we had 55,000,” he recalled.

“In Butler, Pennsylvania we had 52,000. When you have 52,000 people show up quickly for a rally … and the people line up for four days in advance, they stay in tents and things—it’s the most incredible thing—and you get there, you leave, and say, ‘There’s no way I lost Pennsylvania.’ And we didn’t, by the way. It was a hoax, the whole thing was a hoax,” referring to the controversial vote counts.

“This country, we all owe a lot to our country, but now we have to help our country,” Donald Trump emphasized after referring to several of the blunders committed by President Joe Biden, during the few weeks of his tenure in the White House.

“The things that he said, whether we debated or whether he just made statement, all of those things are not what he’s doing. This is more liberal, more radical than what Bernie Sanders ever had in mind,” the former president commented suggesting that Biden had exceeded the expectations of socialist candidate Sanders.

“Bernie could not be happier. But this is something Bernie never would have suggested, what’s happening. [Biden] never talked about what he’s doing to destroy energy, and the Second Amendment now is going to be next.”

He also referred to the censorship of the media and social networks such as Twitter and Facebook. In fact, Facebook censored the interview conducted with Lara and threatened her with further sanctions if she insisted on posting more about Trump.

“Lara Trump reports that Facebook is banning her from posting video of the former president of the free United States and threatening her with removal as well. Big Tech oligarchs exercising raw power to silence their political opponents is utterly terrifying to observe,” reported netizen @MZHemingway

Trump’s supporters reacted by expressing their discontent over the tech giants’ censorship.

“Things are going to get very rough if normal everyday people don’t start speaking up to stop infringement of our liberty,” commented Twitter user @LifeLiberty3.

He added, “Too many are letting others do the work and since not enough are engaged we are losing ground.”

He concluded with, “People need to ask GOP Governors to step up like DeSantis is.”
