Houston police were responding to a shooting in the 5000 block of Idaho Street where a man and a woman were being gunned down around 7:02 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6.

the man and woman—believed to be in their 20s—were walking near a vacant lot when an armed man approached them and started shooting.

The man was killed during the initial shooting while the woman tried to run for her life, but was chased by the shooter and shot dead.

Investigators are working to learn more details in the hopes it will lead to a suspect.

“We are looking for any help from anybody in the neighborhood or in the area that would know anything about this or saw anything and hasn’t come forward yet,” authorities said.

There is currently no description of the suspect, and he remains at large.
