A 15-year-old girl was found safe on Monday Sept. 2, after an Amber Alert from Pearland was issued.
Irene Alejandra Nunez was thought to be missing on Sunday but was located in Beaumont.
Kevin Mauricio Caceres, whom police said was last seen with her, was taken into custody, according to police. He faces a charge of kidnapping.

Pearland police said they are searching for Irene Alejandra Nunez who was last seen at 4 p.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of Wagon Trail Road.
Irene is described as a black female, black hair, brown eyes, is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black hair wrap, blue shirt, blue shorts, and black slide shoes.
They are looking for the suspect and the victim’s stepfather, Kevin Mauricio Caceres, 37, who supposedly took Irene from her home.
The suspect is driving a white 2013 Buick Enclave with the Texas license plate #MLM7190.
