Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a group of suspects who carjacked a man at gunpoint in the driveway of his southwest Houston home.

The crime happened Sunday, Aug. 4, at 7:15 p.m. in 11900 block of Longbrook.

In the video, two males get out of a Toyota Camry on the road next to the driveway. Police say one of the suspects walked up to the driver’s side door while pointing a gun at the man, the victim closed his door, but the suspect was able to open it before he could lock it.

A second suspect in a white T-shirt and red shorts is seen running up and and joining the first suspect in pulling the victim from his car and onto the ground.

An older model, light-colored Toyota Camry then pulled up with a third man who got out of the car to join the other suspects as they searched the victim.

The third suspect appeared to be wearing a graphic tee, pink shorts and a black bag.

Two of the suspects then got into the victim’s SUV and fled the scene, following the Toyota Camry with the other suspects.

Sugar Land police found the SUV a few days later on Aug. 7.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (713)222-TIPS. Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to charges or arrests.
