Houston Police are hunting for three masked suspects who shot and killed a convenience store clerk during a robbery early Monday morning, Oct. 7.
Men in masks entered the Valero gas station on Reed Road at the South Freeway around 3 a.m. and fatally shot the clerk.
One of the armed men can be seen wearing an alien mask, while the other suspects are wearing black masks.
A family member identified the victim as 29-year-old Odai Qadous, who recently emigrated from Pakistan to the United States.
HPD said the men left the scene in a dark colored Nissan, and nothing was taken from the store.

“This is horrible. This man, 29 years old, came to this country for a better life, to support his family, and he gets gunned down for it … it’s not right. These guys need to be caught,” Lt. Meeler with HPD Homicide said.
This is a capital murder, which carries a minimum sentence of life imprisonment. Anyone with information is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
