A Texas reporter in the Rio Grande Valley recorded 300 illegal aliens crossing the border and turning in to Border Patrol agents in a six-hour period.

One of the illegal aliens who crossed the border was a woman who was nine months pregnant and admitted she would give birth in a week.

KGBT CHS4 reporter Sydney Hernandez told Breitbart News that on Thursday she witnessed hundreds of migrants flooding in a couple of hours.

Hernandez sent out a series of tweets capturing images of migrants walking up the dirt roads from the border river where human smugglers had gotten them across.

The reporter said she watched 20 in the first group, 38 in the second, “then 40, then 50, then about 150.” During the six-hour stretch, they counted about 298 migrants who illegally crossed the border from Mexico.

A new group of 50 + people appeared at 10:55 p.m. and one of the illegal people was a woman who was nine months pregnant and she told the border patrol agent that she would deliver her (anchor) baby in about a week or two.

Hernandez said she met several of the migrants, most of whom she spoke with said they were here to seek asylum, but many advised her that they were coming for economic reasons.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection updated the numbers on July 10, for June 2019 for the Rio Grande Sector—unaccompanied alien children apprehensions 27,837, family unit apprehensions 165,970, and single adult apprehensions 72, 649 for a grand total of 266,456.

Last week, U.S. authorities closed border access in Texas after dozens of illegal immigrants tried to enter violently.

The assault, led by a group of Cubans according to Telemundo 51, took place on the International Bridge that connects Reynosa, Tamaulipas, with Hidalgo, Texas, at nine o’clock at night local time.

After thwarting the entry attempt, border agents closed legal access for pedestrians and vehicles and put barriers in place.
