Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Virus infections are increasing in every state, a highly infectious variation is rapidly spreading, and millions are unvaccinated across the United States. Surgeon Gen. Vivek Murthy expressed alarmed about what lies ahead for the pandemic on July 18.

“I am worried about what is to come because we are seeing increasing cases among the unvaccinated in particular,” he said according to the Associated Press. “While, if you are vaccinated, you are very well protected against hospitalization and death, unfortunately that is not true if you are not vaccinated.”

Murthy blamed the Delta strain, which was originally detected in India and has since spread to the United Kingdom and other nations, for causing him considerable angst.

For the first time since late fall, CCP Virus cases in the United States jumped by 17,000 over a 14-day period in the past week. A spike in illness is usually followed by an increase in death, according to the Associated Press.

About 186 million people in the United States have had at least one vaccine dose. However, a further 90 million people still have not despite meeting all eligibility requirements.

Authorities are trying to convince patients who have an aversion to vaccination, particularly conservative rural white people. However, it is uncertain exactly how officials will try to appeal to them.

In Alabama, CCP Virus hospitalizations have more than doubled in a month. About a third of the population is fully vaccinated. Authorities have refused to reinstitute statewide health laws or promote lotteries and other giveaways to encourage vaccination.

“I think the best thing for us to do is just encourage everyone to use their common sense, and practice personal responsibility, and make themselves and their families safe,” state Gov. Kay Ivey (R) said according to the media outlet.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors renewed CCP Virus restrictions. Everyone must wear face masks even when inside government facilities.

Health experts in the San Francisco Bay area, which has some of the highest vaccination rates in California, urged that everyone to once again wear face masks when inside public buildings–regardless of vaccination status.

Some Las Vegas resorts and casinos have also ordered employees to wear masks in response to the latest health advice.

The order came amid soaring CCP Virus infection rates in Nevada, which ranks fifth among U.S. states for the most new cases per capita in the past two weeks.
