On Sunday, Sept.12, renowned actor Jon Voight posted a video on Twitter showing his support for the Republican candidate for California Governor, Larry Elder.
In his message, Voight asks Californians to vote for Larry Elder to rid the state of the “horror” that is the current governor, Gavin Newsom, and his left-wing policies, stressing that the Republican candidate is “Our freedom.”
At the beginning of the video, he says that Americans are in a “disgusting war of left-wing mentality,” and asks, “How can we live with our children being exposed to this left, our governor Newsom, and his demands for shots? How can we be taken down by such wrongdoing against our freedom, our rights as humans, as Americans?” He made a plea to vote for Elder because he is a person of dignity, truths, and not power and lies.
Then, the rest of his words had “God” as their centerpiece.
“Let our states be saved with truths, with a force of God’s rules, not leftist rules that will destroy our young,” he said during the video.
He also asked Americans not to forget the origin of the United States and God’s gifts to humankind.
“We the people must understand and see these lies. And I want you all to remember our God-given gifts, our forefathers’ fight for our freedom of choice—not for mandatory or to force to control one’s beliefs—but to honor one’s will, one’s free will without control,” the renowned actor added.
He went on to say that there is no need to fear because God is here.
“Because we are God’s true heroes, his children, his creation of free will, of love. And we all must not forget the truth. And we all must not fear, for God is here,” Voight said.
And he concluded by saying Elder will save California.
“Let us bring the California country to her best yet. Elder will help us save her.”
It should be noted that a few days ago, actress Rose McGowan, harshly criticized the current governor, Gavin Newsom, whom she called a liar and accused his wife of having pressured her not to talk about the abuse she suffered at the hands of Harvey Weinstein.
In a video posted on Twitter, the actress, who is a #MeToo activist, left this strong message:
“Gov. Gavin Newsom, you’re facing a recall because you’re a fraud, just like your wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom. I have the receipts. I wish I didn’t,” and added that the governor is “on the side of wrong.”
In closing she let him know that no one needs him.
“I hope this recall goes through because California does not need you. The nation does not need you. The world does not need you. We do not not need you.”
In turn, this Sunday, the actress made an appearance at an event in support of Larry Elder, criticizing Newson and the Democratic Party establishment, announcing that she is no longer a member of that party.
In her presentation she called for profound change in America, she said that in her travels around the world she has been told that “Americans are the most uneducated” and she believes they are not wrong in what they tell her.
And she took aim at the establishment saying “Why not put a stake in the heart of evil?”.
It remains to be seen what will really happen to Newson, whether he will continue to be the governor of California or step down soon, although more and more personalities are coming out in support of Republican candidate Larry Elder.
