Arroyo donated 150 inches of hair to ‘Locks of Love,’ a nonprofit organization that provides high-quality hair prosthetics to children who need them, according to a press release from the Salt Lake Army Recruiting Battalion Public Affairs Office.
In a video posted to the Facebook page of the Salt Lake City Army Recruiting Battalion, Arroyo said he was just “really excited” to be enlisting in the Army, in addition to having his hair put to a better use.
“Hopefully some little girl is gonna get it,” Arroyo said.
