The World Health Organization (WHO) is fast losing credibility, with calls for the director-general to resign after having been accused of aiding China to conceal the extent of the CCP Virus outbreak.

Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has assisted China in hiding the truth, said Sen. Martha McSally (R-Ariz.), and has called for Ghebreyesus to step down.

In an interview with Fox Business on April 2, McSally said, “I’ve never trusted a communist. And their coverup of this virus that originated with them has caused unnecessary deaths around America and around the world.” she added, “The WHO needs to stop covering for them. I think Dr. Tedros needs to step down. We need to take some action to address this issue. It’s just irresponsible, it’s unconscionable what they have done here while we have people dying across the globe.”

Tarik Jasarevic, a spokesman for the WHO, did not reply directly to McSally’s demand that Ghebreyesus resign, but said WHO members are “to report data in a timely and accurate manner.”

“Membership in WHO and signing up to the International Health Regulations both carry with it the responsibility to prioritize public health, nationally and internationally, not only because global health norms say so, but because the two are inextricably linked, as this global pandemic has made clear to the world,” Jasarevic said, reports Politico.

On Tuesday, March 31, Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) called for a congressional probe into the WHO and said funding from the United States should be withheld for its part in “helping Communist China cover up” vital information about the CCP Virus. McSally agreed with his suggestions, and any debts owed to China “should be forgiven, as a minimum.” Scott has called for a full investigation when Congress returns to Washington.

McSally agreed, “We need to look at addressing the WHO as well.” She also said U.S. debts to China “should be forgiven, as a minimum.”

“The mission of the WHO is to get public health information to the world so every country can make the best decisions to keep their citizens safe. When it comes to coronavirus, the WHO failed,” Scott said.

“We know Communist China is lying about how many cases and deaths they have, what they knew and when they knew it—and the WHO never bothered to investigate further,” Scott added. “Their inaction cost lives.”
