The president’s personal attorney said the president is being impeached for “doing the right thing as the president of the United States.”

On his recent trip to Ukraine to investigate the former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter, Rudy Giuliani uncovered two major money-laundering schemes. “One for $7.5 billion, the other for $5 billion,” involving the Obama administration, with Joe Biden also involved in bribery. “It is a disgrace he’s not under investigation for it in America,” Giuliani said.

Giuliani, who met with a KGB-trained lawmaker, Andriy Derkach in Ukraine, appeared on “The Ingraham Angle” on Monday, Dec. 16, and told host Laura Ingraham he has evidence the impeachment inquiry into President Trump is a “cover-up,” of Democratic malfeasance.

Giuliani said he played a role in having ex-U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch removed from her position, as she was corrupt, and was obstructing the investigation into the Bidens and their dealings in Ukraine.

Guiliani tweeted on Tuesday, “Yovanovitch needed to be removed for many reasons; most critical she was denying visas to Ukrainians who wanted to come to United States and explain Democratic corruption in Ukraine. She was OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE, and that’s not the only thing she was doing. She, at minimum, enabled Ukrainian collusion.”

Yovanovitch, a career diplomat who testified before the Senate in the impeachment inquiry, said she had been fired from her position due to a smear campaign by Trump allies. She called the president’s tweets, which were produced at the inquiry, as “very intimidating.”

Giuliani said several congressmen were also concerned about Yovanovitch, including [former Texas Republican U.S. Congressman] Pete Sessions.
Other individuals had told him Yovanovitch was “holding up” their visas “in order to obstruct the investigation of collusion in the Ukraine and specifically to obstruct the Biden investigation.”

When individuals from Ukraine wanted to come to the United States to give evidence against the Bidens and the Democratic Party, Yovanovitch stopped them, said Giuliani.

“I have four witnesses who will testify that she personally turned down their visas. There’s no question that she was acting corruptly in that position and had to be removed,” he said.
“It is a cover-up, a cover-up,” said Giuliani.

“I have that testimony under oath. I gave it to the State Department. They never investigated a single witness. When they say that she is innocent, it is innocent-without-investigation,” he added.

President Trump had asked the Ukrainian president to investigate “crimes at the highest levels of both governments,” and for that is being impeached. Again, it doesn’t sound right.
