In the run-up to the Nov. 3 presidential election in the United States, pro-life leaders have warned that the Democratic Party duo, Joe Biden-Kamala Harris, is the “most pro-abortion presidential ticket in history.”

Harris’ links with the abortion industry

Harris has a strong pro-abortion record from when she was the Californian Attorney General.

From her position, which she held from 2011 to 2017, she launched a vigorous campaign against the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) project leader David Daleiden.

Daleiden’s organization filmed several scenes showing fetal tissue sales by Planned Parenthood clinics with a hidden camera.

Thanks to those CMP images, which traveled the world, millions of people became aware of the dark industry and interests behind pro-choice campaigns.

“Kamala Harris is an extremist who supports abortion on demand from birth, paid for by taxpayers, and even infanticide,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony List.

In a statement issued Aug. 11, after learning that Harris would accompany Biden on the Democrat ticket, the pro-life leader warned that, if elected the Democrats ” … will immediately begin rolling back President Trump’s pro-life gains, as well as longstanding policies like the Hyde Amendment.”

The Hyde Amendment provides that federal health resources cannot be used for abortions.

“Together, Biden and Harris constitute the most pro-abortion presidential ticket in American history,” Dannenfelser said.

Contrary to religious principles

Brian Burch, president of CatholicVote, told Biden that “his self-styled ‘Catholic identity’ is something which can be cast aside whenever it’s politically expedient.”

“Like Joe Biden himself, Kamala Harris favors radical abortion policies including late-term abortion paid for by taxpayers, as well as forcing Catholic religious orders like the Little Sisters of the Poor to provide abortion drugs in their healthcare plans,” he said.

In this regard, Burch recalled how two years ago, as a senator, Harris “ruthlessly” criticized Brian Buescher, a Catholic candidate for the Nebraska federal district court, simply because of his affiliation with the Knights of Columbus fraternal benefits society.

“It is clear that a Biden-Harris ticket threatens the values Catholics in this country hold most dear,” he said.

Jeanne Mancini, president of March for Life, also said that Biden “is the abortion candidate, leaving behind any semblance of being a moderate.

“Sadly, this Democrat ticket is perhaps the most pro-abortion in history,” she added in a statement.

“It is not an option.”

The national director of Priests for Life, Father Frank Pavone, described Harris as an abortion extremist but added that “Democrat extremism doesn’t end with abortion.

“In this election, voters will choose between a free market or socialism; prosperity or a ruined economy; a secure nation or open borders; the Constitution, or judicial tyranny,” Pavone said.

“One cannot vote for the Democrat ticket; it is simply not an option,” he said in a statement.

Looking ahead to the November elections, Dannenfelser published a column on Fox News highlighting that, at the opposite pole from the Biden-Harris duo, both “in his public statements about the life issue during the campaign and his achievements since being in office, [U.S. President Donald] Trump has not let the movement down.

“From policies that prevent our hard-earned tax dollars from going towards abortions both here and abroad, to reshaping the judiciary with judges who respect the Constitution and life—and many other accomplishments—he has earned the designation he has today: ‘the most pro-life president in history’,” said Dannenfelser.
