President Trump posted a message on Sunday, Aug. 23, on Twitter criticizing Democrats for pretending to use mail drop boxes to collect ballots for the November election.

The dispute between Republicans and Democrats over the postal vote continues. In a new chapter, President Trump insists on the weakness of this voting system to prevent fraud.

Several large states, including the swing states of Arizona, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, are considering using or expanding the use of mail drop boxes. As a pretext, Democrats often claim that the postal system allows citizens to cast their votes without the risks of crowding into small spaces. But they do not show the same concern when they endorse the massive BLM demonstrations, where no one respects social distancing or uses safeguards.

Oregon, Washington, and Colorado already use mail drop boxes regularly.

President Trump, while saying he supports voting by absentee ballot, repeatedly criticized the mail ballot saying it will lead to fraudulent voting. He also regularly targets Democrats who promote it.

According to a New York Post article, President Trump said, “I’m at the White House. And I have to send a ballot to Florida, that makes sense. So if you needed for some reason, or if somebody’s not well, that’s one thing,” Trump said. “But when you send out 7.7 million mail-in ballots there’s forgeries, there’s frankly duplication where they print ballots on the same kind of paper with the same kind of machinery, and you can’t tell the difference.”

In May, President Trump tweeted, “The United States cannot have all Mail-In Ballots. It will be the greatest Rigged Election in history. People grab them from mail drop boxes, print thousands of forgeries, and “force” people to sign. Also, forge names. Some absentee OK, when necessary. Trying to use Covid for this Scam!”

President Trump issued a new criticism of the postal voting system on Sunday, “So now the Democrats are using Mail Drop Boxes, which are a voter security disaster. Among other things, they make it possible for a person to vote multiple times. Also, who controls them, are they placed in Republican or Democrat areas? They are not Covid sanitized. A big fraud!” President Trump wrote on his Twitter account

A few hours after the message was posted, Twitter covered it up by saying, “This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about civic and election integrity. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible.” And since that time, in a new case of network censorship against President Trump, you can only read but not comment on or share the message.

In parallel, according to Zero Hedge, in a strange session on Saturday, the Democrat-led House approved an extraordinary $25 billion appropriation to help the USPS with an unusual influx of ballots. However, the Democratic-driven USPS assistance bill has yet to pass and be approved by the Senate with a Republican majority.
