While touring a Louis Vuitton factory in Texas on Thursday, Oct. 18, President Trump was approached by a French reporter, who asked why the United States has a lower unemployment rate.
“You have a very low unemployment rate in the U.S. and we have a very high unemployment rate in France. How come?” the reporter asked.
“Well, maybe we have a better president than you do,” the president responded quickly and smiled slightly.
Twitter users loved the answer, they tweeted back to show their excitements.
That’s why @realDonaldTrump is the best. Doesn’t sugar coat anything.

He has relaxed into this role. He has not blown up the world or this country. I am less alarmed by him now than I was three years ago. And that is bad news for the Democrats.

President Trump and Macron have traditionally had a close relationship. Macron and the French first lady traveled to the White House last year for an official state visit.
The president’s visit to the new Louis Vuitton factory in Johnson County, Texas was to participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the French company’s pledge to hire 1,000 American workers, according to Daily Caller.
