President Donald Trump on Tuesday, June 11, said that Mueller found “No Collusion” between the Trump campaign and the Russians but “the bottom line is, what the Democrat House is doing is trying to destroy the Trump Presidency” with a continued effort to revive the Mueller report.
President Trump tweeted: “Mueller has spoken. He found No Collusion between the Trump Campaign and the Russians. The bottom line is what the Democrat House is doing is trying to destroy the Trump Presidency (which has been a tremendous success), and I can assure you that we’re done with the Mueller……”
President Trump continued to tweet that the Senate was done with the Mueller report and, “We are going to harden our Infrastructure against 2020!”
He added later: “….investigation in the Senate. They can talk to John Dean until the cows come home, we’re not doing anything in the Senate regarding the Mueller Report. We are going to harden our Infrastructure against 2020!”
And he added: “Presidential Harassment!”
In the meantime, the House has approved a resolution that will make it easier to file lawsuits against the Trump administration when officials defy subpoenas, according to AP.
The legislation passed 229-191, along party lines.
Tuesday’s vote reflects an evolving strategy for Democrats, who have moved toward lawsuits and away from criminal contempt as they investigate President Donald Trump and his administration.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Democrats “need answers on the questions left unanswered” by special counsel Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia report.
