The Trump campaign is preparing for a contested election, and a coalition of “Lawyers for Trump” is being formed to protect voting integrity in November’s presidential election.

Campaign general counsel Matthew Morgan is promoting a nationwide coalition of active and retired attorneys, including law students, to “protect the integrity” of November’s vote. “Democrats are working to shred election integrity measures one state at a time, and there’s no question they’ll continue their shenanigans from now to November and beyond,” Morgan told Fox News.

“The Trump campaign is fighting to ensure every valid ballot across America counts—once,” Morgan said.

Morgan told Fox News the coalition of lawyers is increasing “daily” and “will rally support for President Trump as they lend their time and legal expertise to protect the integrity of November’s election.”

The coalition of lawyers is headed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge, as well as National Committeewoman for the Republican National Committee for California Harmeet Dhillon and former Deputy White House counsel Stefan Passantino. The group includes prominent Trump-allied attorneys like former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, former Attorney General Ed Meese, and the president’s attorney Rudy Giuliani.

President Trump clarified remarks he had made this week in North Carolina, after Democrats criticized him for suggesting voters cast their mail vote, then go to vote in person, just in case. It is illegal for people to vote more than once.

The president followed up on Twitter, “Based on the massive number of Unsolicited & Solicited Ballots that will be sent to potential Voters for the upcoming 2020 Election, & in order for you to MAKE SURE YOUR VOTE COUNTS & IS COUNTED, SIGN & MAIL IN your Ballot as EARLY as possible,” Trump tweeted on Thursday. “On Election Day or Early Voting, go to your Polling Place to see whether or not your Mail In Vote has been Tabulated (Counted). If it has you will not be able to Vote & the Mail In System worked properly. If it has not been Counted, VOTE (which is a citizen’s right to do).”

Twitter placed a label on President Donald Trump’s tweet, with the reasoning it encouraged people to potentially vote twice. “We placed a public interest notice on two Tweets in this thread for violating our Civic Integrity Policy, specifically for encouraging people to potentially vote twice,” Twitter Safety said in a post on Thursday.

“The president is not suggesting anyone do anything unlawful,” White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said during an appearance on Fox News. “What he said very clearly there, is make sure your [mail-in] vote is tabulated, and if it is not, then vote.” “He wants verification,” McEnany continued.

“Democrats want a whole new fraudulent system of mail-in voting never tried before in American history, and what Democrats are saying to you is, ‘Trust us, but don’t verify.’ What this president is saying is verify your vote,'” she continued.

“It is the single biggest problem that there is,” President Trump said during an interview on “The Ingraham Angle” this week. “Everybody wants an honest election. I want an honest election.”

The president said that his team “has lawyers,” but Democrats “have more lawyers than any human being has ever hired.”

The Democratic National Committee has accused the president of encouraging voters to “commit voter fraud.”

Republicans are concerned that due to the enormous scale of mail-in ballots likely to occur this year due to the pandemic, the opportunity for fraud and confusion come November will be unprecedented.

After the 2016 election, where Democrats were convinced they would win the election, they have put all their energy into delegitimizing and discrediting President Trump, using any means necessary.

As the president has pointed out, the coming election is the most important one in American history, as to allow a Biden administration to take over will be the end of freedom and security. America would become a Communist/Leftist overrun nation.
