President Donald Trump on Saturday, April 11, slammed The New York Times after the outlet published a report claiming that the CCP Virus (coronavirus) outbreak in New York originated in Europe, not China.

“So now the Fake News @nytimes is tracing the CoronaVirus origins back to Europe, NOT China. This is a first!” President Trump tweeted.

Citing two studies, which are being conducted by the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the New York University School of Medicine, the network reported that they came to “strikingly similar conclusions” that the CCP Virus started to circulate in New York by mid-February and that travelers brought in the virus mainly from Europe, not China—a hidden jab at the president’s response to the outbreak as he issued the China travel ban on Jan. 31 and to European countries on March 12.

Last month, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) expelled American journalists from The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post from working in China.

“I wonder what the Failing New York Times got for this one? Are there any NAMED sources? They were recently thrown out of China like dogs, and obviously want back in. Sad!” President Trump wrote.

The president also ripped the publication for repeatedly changing a headline on an articles regarding a CCP Virus relief package designed to help offset potentially catastrophic economic impacts of the virus “to satisfy the radical left.”

“The New York Times changed headlines 3 times in order to satisfy the Radical Left. What should have been a good story got ‘worse & worse’, until the headline alone made it very unfair,” the president tweeted. “Fake & Corrupt News that is very dangerous for our Country!”

The president’s ire came after the Times changed the original headline on an article, “Democrats Block Action on $1.8 Trillion Stimulus,” to “Democrats Block Action on Stimulus Plan, Seeking Worker Protections” and then to “Partisan Divide Threatens Deal on Rescue Plan.”

The Times and other media outlets have been criticized for their soft stance toward China where the pandemic began and for helping the CCP push its propaganda amid the crisis.

“Nothing demonstrates how completely corrupt the establishment media has become than how it parrots the Chinese Communist Party’s talking points about the origin and spread of the Wuhan virus epidemic,” wrote The Ohio Star.

“As our friends at the Media Research Center have documented, the media is desperate to attack and condemn Trump for the coronavirus at any cost, even if that means touting propaganda from an enemy government,” it added.
