President Donald J. Trump is leading and beating every Democrat presidential contenders in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

This is in spite of the difficult negotiations with China and as the Democrats persist to struggle to impeach the president.

President Trump is polling well and ahead of Democrats candidates, according to a Dec. 8 report from Firehouse Strategies. The president is gaining popularity in the three battleground states, indicated Firehouse/Optimus based on its December survey of the trio states.

Firehouse/Optimus conducted its quarterly polling from Dec. 3 to 5, seeking political views from prospective 2020 U.S. general election voters.

They sampled voters using a variety of methods—via landline, cellphone, peer-to-peer text messaging, and using web survey. Total sample size was 1,759 of likely 2020 general election voters in Michigan (551), Pennsylvania (598), and Wisconsin (610), with about a 4 percent margin of error.

As the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry is heating up in the Capitol in Washington, key findings from the Firehouse/Optimus latest poll is showing increasing support for President Trump in these crucial swing states.

The president’s popularity is surging across the board against former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Mayor Pete Buttigieg, and even former Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Firehouse/Optimus poll findings showed that the President Trump is now leading by an average of six percentage points against each Democrat contenders. In particular, the survey results revealed a significant decline in support for former Vice President Joe Biden, who is five points below President Trump in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Previous surveys from Firehouse Strategies indicated President Trump and Biden competing evenly. However, in Wisconsin, the latest poll showed Biden plummeting notably from a 12-point lead of President Trump in March this to a nine points below the president in the December survey.

In Michigan, President Trump is leading Biden by five percentage points, Sanders by six points, Warren by nine points, Buttigieg by eleven points, and Bloomberg by eleven points, according to the findings from the Firehouse/Optimus December survey.

The polls showed that the battleground state voters are not in favor of the House Democrats’ struggle to impeach President Trump.

Figures from the poll indicated that the likely voters are against impeachment and removing the president from office. Fifty-one percent of Michigan voters, over 52% of Pennsylvania voters, and nearly 58% of voters in Wisconsin oppose impeachment and removal of the president.

Notably, the majority of these battleground state voters indicated that they want congressional Democrats to “focus on policy issues,” instead of spending time impeaching President Trump. Figures showed that 59.4% from Michigan, 63% from Pennsylvania, and 67.2% of the polled likely state voters chose “focus on policy issues.”

Seventy percent of nonpartisan voters in Michigan and 61% in Wisconsin were against impeachment and removal of the president. In Pennsylvania, only about 41% to 46% support the Democrats’ struggle for impeachment and removal.
