The lawyer for the three plaintiffs against Jeffrey Epstein, the multimillionaire accused of pedophilia, said the defendant’s life would be in danger because his powerful friends feared secrets involving them would be revealed, The Sun reported on July 29.

In fact, Epstein was found injured and “sprawled on the floor” and with “blue in the face” at New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center, where he is being held, on July 23, according to RadarOnline as quoted in USA Today Post.

I question whether or not it was a true suicide attempt that Mr Epstein was involved in in jail or whether or not there may be some powerful people who just don’t want him to talk,” attorney Spencer Kuvin told Sun Online.

On that occasion shouts were heard and prison staff were seen running through the corridors at 1:30 a.m., according to the Sun. It is under investigation as to whether it was a suicide attempt or an external attack.

The accused was already convicted on similar charges in 2008 and in early July was arrested again for the abuse and sexual trafficking of dozens of underage girls.

The case of the arrest of financier Jeffrey Epstein could uncover a huge pedophile network involving renowned personalities from around the world. Among his friends were former President Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew of Great Britain.

Prosecutor Sigrid McCawley said the current charges were “just the tip of the iceberg,” according to USA Today Post.

In the FBI raid on his $70 million New York residence, evidence was found against him.

“Perhaps thousands” of photographs of nude females, including “at least one girl who, according to her counsel, was underage at the time the relevant photographs were taken,” Manhattan prosecutor Geoffrey Berman said according to the same media.

Hidden goods were also found, including dozens of diamonds and works of art as well as “piles of money” in the safe.
