A female from Alabama used hot grease to fight off a man later accused of domestic violence.
It happened Aug. 1 on the 280 block of Wimberly Drive SW in Decatur, Alabama. A call from a domestic dispute was answered by the police.
When policemen came, they discovered a man with burns on his face, recognized as Larondrick Macklin. He was transferred for therapy to a local hospital.
Macklin entered the house of the victim with a firearm, according to police, and the victim threw a pot containing warm grease to protect herself.
Macklin was charged with household violence and burglary. After his release from the hospital, he was detained. He is being held on a $300,000 bond.
