Police found a 3-year-old girl wandering around the parking lot while her mother worked at a strip club in South Florida, according to authorities.
Lauderhill Police Officer Lt. Michael Santiago said in a news release that someone called 911 early Tuesday, Sept. 17, after seeing a child roaming around.
The child led police officers to a vehicle that wasn’t running and had the back window cracked for ventilation, Santiago said.
About 30 minutes later Manouchika Daniels, 23, walked up and identified herself as the child’s mother, police said.
Police determined that Daniels left the girl about 11 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, while she worked at Vegas Cabaret.
Daniels was charged with child neglect and was ordered held without bond.
The little girl was taken into protective custody.
