Police are searching for a missing Florida teenager whose family said they received a video call showing the girl tied to a chair with a rope tied around her neck.
According to the Davie Police Department, 16-year-old Destiny Rose, of Broward County, has been missing for a month. She was last seen at the Alpha Group Home in Southwest Ranches on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Police said her aunt received an Instagram live video call from Destiny’s account. In the video, the aunt said that a Hispanic man was filming Destiny crying while she was tied up, with a rope around her neck.
Destiny is a habitual runaway, her family said. The man is described as being in his late 20s to 30s with a short crew haircut and a patch of facial hair on his chin, WSVN reported.
