Four people were killed in a crash in Berrien County, Michigan, on Friday, Aug. 2, according to authorities.

The crash occurred around 12:07 p.m. in Buchanan Township.

Authorities said a 2007 Ford Fusion was driving on Miller Road when it is believed the driver ran a stop sign. It struck a southbound 2000 Honda Accord.

All four people in the Honda Accord were killed in the crash. The victims have been identified as 66-year-old Robert Klint, 60-year-old Melissa Klint, 52-year-old Kent Williamson, and 22-year-old Landyn Klint, all from Sawyer.

The driver and passenger in the Ford Fusion were both injured. They were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the investigation, police said.
