Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich supports outraged Scottsdale residents who perceive the Biden administration’s use of a hotel to house up to 1,200 illegal immigrants as a safety risk to their community.

In addition to the fact that the community was not consulted and was only told the day before the hotel was occupied, the hotel is located next to an apartment complex, a nursing home, and a high school, reported Bizpacreview on June 8.

“The president is using Arizona as an experiment with his reckless border policies,” said Brnovich, who identifies the event as a threat to the safety of families and the nation.

He added: “I will continue to stand up for Arizonans and do everything I can to stop the Biden Administration’s attempt to abolish ICE.

“All of us will pay the price, not only with our tax dollars, but also with our national security, and the safety of our families,” Brnovich emphasized.

Scottsdale is a Maricopa County city of about 250,000 people. Its residents protested as soon as they learned of the influx of immigrants into their city without their consent and without consulting with the police department.

“Over the Memorial Day Weekend, we were notified about the hotel and the illegals that were moved in under the cover of darkness without any kind of consultation from the local community,” reported resident and protest organizer Lisa Seger.

Another protester noted, “We shouldn’t be letting them come into the country in the first place,” another protester told AZ Family.

“I’m all for people coming in through the proper channels,” said Tamorah Trahant, adding, “It’s not about being discriminatory in any way on any level. It’s purely about the Constitution from the start to finish.”

Another neighbor raised questions that might clarify whether this is not a spur-of-the-moment measure.

“Do we know that they all have sponsors? Do we know that they have a place to go? Do we know that they’re actually going to show up for their court date? Or they’re just released and they’re on their own? Because that worries me for them,” he questioned.

Seger and other residents plan to escalate the protest to City Hall: “I’d like to see our mayor and City Council step up and shut this down.”

For his part, President Joe Biden opened the borders for hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants to enter the U.S. on his first day as president, causing an absolute breakdown at the southern border, which persists to this day.

In this context, Vice President Kamala Harris was charged with providing solutions to the conflict, but she has not yet visited the border to see the proportions of the crisis generated, and her plans include negotiating with Central American countries.

For Fox News journalist Tucker Carlson, the Biden administration’s decision to attract illegal immigrants to the United States, allow their unrestricted entry and then grant them citizenship, has the sole purpose of increasing its voter base.
