A 58-year-old Bronx woman was killed Thursday morning after her ex-husband allegedly ran over his ex-wife with a car and then repeatedly stabbed her to death with a machete. 

The NYPD said they remain on the hunt for 63-year-old Victor Mateo.

The incident reportedly occurred Thursday morning, Oct. 3, around 7 a.m. when the woman left her home for work. Police said she was attacked as she was getting into her in the Bronx.

Police found the victim—identified by the NYPD on Friday as Noelia Mateo—”unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to the body,” the NYPD said.

EMS rushed her to Jacobi Hospital but it was too late.

Police have released photos of Meteo. The suspect is described as Hispanic, 5’9″, 160 pounds, and has salt and pepper hair.
