A vehicle jumped a curb in the Bronx after a two-car accident, fatally striking a child in a stroller on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 17, police said.
The accident happened just after 4 p.m. in the Willaimsbridge section of the borough, according to the NYPD.
A mother was walking with her child in a stroller when the car jumped the curb and struck the stroller. The mother then took the child to the hospital in a private car.
The child was later pronounced dead at the hospital. No information about the child’s age or gender was available.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
