Police are trying to find a young New York City mother and her 1-year-old son who were reported missing Thursday night, Oct. 24, according to authorities.

Jessica Corrales, 17 and her 1-year-old son, Juan Flores, were last seen Thursday, around 11 p.m., at their home on Rosedale Avenue, in the Soundview section of the Bronx, police said.

Police describe Corrales was a 5-foot-1-inch tall Hispanic woman who weighs 170 pounds and has straight black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing dark-colored shorts and a light-colored T-shirt.

Her son was last seen wearing a light-colored onesie, police said.
