A homeowner in Florida is adamant that his surveillance cameras captured the moment that Brian Laundrie, 23, was biking through his property.

Five weeks into the search for the only person of interest in the case of deceased Gabby Petito, 22, the authorities have not been able to detect her fiance Laundrie. He disappeared allegedly on Sept. 13, just two days after the Petito family filed a missing person report to the police.

According to the video obtained by TMZ, a cyclist in blacktop and a bulky backpack was seen struggling through a rugged sand path and stopped for a brief moment to walk his bike.

The sighting occurred on Oct. 9 in Dunnellon, Florida, just around three hours away from Laundrie’s family home in North Port, the outlet revealed.

Although the video was too blurry to provide much confirmation of any traits that would help identify Laundrie, the homeowner believed this sighting was worthy enough to file a report to law enforcement.

Parents of Brian Laundrie said they last saw him on Sept. 13, driving his Ford Mustang with a backpack to the Carlton Reserve for a hike. They retrieved his abandoned vehicle the next day and filed a missing report on Sept. 17.

Two days later, the remains of his fiance were located in a national Wyoming park. Her death was soon ruled a homicide, with officials reporting this month she died of manual strangulation.

The manhunt for Laundrie was launched shortly after the law enforcement was alerted of his disappearance. While the officials have focused most of their efforts in the 24,565-acre preserve in Sarasota County, countless sightings have poured in claiming they saw Laundrie in different areas.

Most of the tips have clustered around the Appalachian Trail over North Carolina. Yet, it has also been reported this week one hiker was mistaken for the fugitive as he checked in for a nap in a resort near the trail. Critics said he was not so much of a Laundrie doppelganger except for his beard, bald head, and slim figure.

Officials have not charged Laundrie for the death of his vlogger fiance yet. He is currently wanted by the FBI for using Petito’s debit card shortly after she disappeared.
