A touching video from California shows a mother with her infant daughter ringing out the cancer-free bell.

Lillian Grace Borden was born on Sept. 5, 2019. Her gestation and birth appeared safe and regular until a nurse detected a little sign that something was off.

The nurse said Lillian didn’t move her arms and legs quite right. An MRI had something to show on her brain stem.

The MRI indicated that Lillian had a tumor near her brain stem and spinal cord.

From there, the news just got worse. Doctors said they would not be able to operate on the tumor because of its location. And, it was an aggressive stage 3-4 malignant glioma.

The only hope was targeted chemotherapy recently approved that had shown promise for a few specific types of tumors.

Lillian’s MRI showed no sign of tumor three weeks after the targeted chemotherapy!

“Everyone in the hospital is in shock,” Lillian’s mother Leann said. “They say it’s magic. I say it’s faith.”

In November doctors let Lillian go home. Lillian was officially declared cancer-free in January, following a few more tests and checkups.

“I want to thank Dr. Hastings for saving my baby. You guys are all incredible. I’ve never met such amazing people in my whole life,” Leann said fighting back tears.

Welcome home baby Lillian! This cancer warrior warmed our hearts with her smiles and strength. #TeamLillian #ChildhoodCancer #HelpHopeCourage
