Maybe no one has told the administrators of Major Leagues Baseball (MLB) who talk grandiosely about promoting ‘democracy’ in Georgia and the right to vote for all Americans, that in China where they do big business, people can’t even vote and not to mention that having a religious belief can cause your demise.
How it all started
As a result of allegations of fraud during the 2020 presidential election, Georgia’s government recently approved an amendment to the election law to modify some fragile aspects of the process.
Why did Democrats, the left, and celebrities react so aggressively to the change in Georgia’s election law? Because now people will have to show personal identification to vote— sure, it’s ‘racist’, just as it is for police officers to ask a suspect if he or she is an illegal immigrant.
What MLB says
On April 2, Commissioner of Baseball Robert Manfred issued a statement explaining that they would be moving their headquarters and preseason to another state in retaliation to the new election law.
“I have decided that the best way to demonstrate our values as a sport is by relocating this year’s All-Star Game and MLB Draft, he said. “Major League Baseball fundamentally supports voting rights for all Americans and opposes restrictions to the ballot box.”
“We proudly used our platform to encourage baseball fans and communities throughout our country to perform their civic duty and actively participate in the voting system,” he explains in the statement.
However, according to a Post Millennial report, MLB does big business in China. It has a headquarters where it ‘nurtures’ athletes and even boasts of its good relations with the communist dictatorship.
MLB’s fake values
“Over the last decade, MLB’s Development Center in China has been focused on academics, baseball, and the social and cultural development of each of the participants to come through the doors,” the website says.
Since 1949, when the Chinese Communist Party toppled the Kuomintang, weakened by the war with Japan, it took control of China. Since then, the Chinese have been unable to exercise their ‘civic duty .’ The Chinese regime has been slowly eating away at the Chinese’s freedoms and rights.
Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of Falun Dafa practitioners, Christians, and Uyghurs who are killed for their beliefs without even having committed a crime.
Now that the Commissioner knows that there is no democracy in China, I wonder if he will go there to promote the ‘civic duty’ to vote?
But of course, it is easy playing the social justice warrior in the United States where they are guaranteed their freedoms. Simultaneously, in China, they give money to a regime that tortures and kills innocent people. It is part of the charade that Hollywood and the mainstream media have created to keep people oblivious to reality.
That is the entertainment world’s role: to lull and prevent people from waking up to the truth.
