The collapse of the building in Miami on June 24 keeps the world awake and waiting for an answer that will indicate the true causes of the mysterious collapse. Meanwhile, political opportunists are using the case to impose their ideas and cause panic among the population. Such is the case of the Secretary of Energy, Jennifer Granholm, who attributed the collapse to climate change and global warming.

The tragic incident left 12 people dead and 149 missing in the rubble. The causes have not been determined, and there are several theories. But many were outraged when Granholm’s statements came to light, claiming that the collapse was due to climate change.

Granholm, who is neither a scientist nor an engineer, stated that “Obviously, we don’t know fully, but we do know that the seas are rising. We know that we’re losing inches and inches of beaches, not just in Florida but all around,” Granholm said odfghjkl;’

“We’ll have to wait to see what the analysis is for this building, but the issue about resiliency and making sure we adapt to this changing climate, that’s going to mean levees need to be built, sea walls need to be built, infrastructure needs to be built,” she continued.

With her words Granholm made it clear how she used the Miami building catastrophe, to push President Biden’s infrastructure package.

“There’s so much investment that we need to do protect ourselves from climate change but also to address it and mitigate it,” Granholm continued. “Hopefully these infrastructure bills, when taken together, will make a huge step and allow America to lead again.”

Climate change is the heart and soul of the Green New Deal, liberal Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’s legislation that advocates say is “a way to change the entire economy.” But to where? Logically, its advocates propose a hopeful future in the form of a new economy without fossil fuels and plenty of jobs for all in a world without pollution. But no one can explain how to get there without first completely breaking the current system and consequently generating an absolute and unprecedented crisis.

Climate change has become a kind of symbol for leftists. Of course, the cause moves the population and in this way they managed to turn it into a category in which nobody can contradict any premise in favor of the environmental struggle without being labeled as a detractor of nature or a bad person.

The point is that the leftists are using the climate change argument with much speculation to advance their globalist and anti-American agenda.

In this same context of opportunism, congressional Democrats are trying to pass a multi-billion dollar infrastructure budget to invest billions of dollars in a climate agenda that at the moment gives no guarantee of success or welfare for the general population.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Republican, called on President Biden on Monday, June 28, to provide assurances that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a Democrat, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will keep their word that the bipartisan infrastructure bill would be decoupled from left-wing plans to spend millions on environmental goals.

“The president has appropriately delinked a potential bipartisan infrastructure bill from the massive tax-and-spend unrelated plans Democrats want to pursue on a partisan basis,” McConnell explains in a press release. “I now call on Chairman Biden to engage Leader Schumer and Speaker Pelosi and make sure they follow suit.”
