After the separation of the Gates couple, close sources informed that the friendship between Bill Gates and the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein for several years would have generated an intense strain in the Gates’ marriage as Melinda Gates was furious over their friendship, several news outlets have reported.
Melinda and Bill met with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in New York City in 2013. Shortly afterward, she said she was furious about the relationship between the two men, according to The Daily Beast.
The meeting allegedly occurred at Epstein’s Upper East Side mansion in September 2013. From there began a friendly relationship between the two millionaire men, which would have provoked Melinda’s disapproval. It should be noted that at that time, the financier Epstein already had charges against him for aggravated sexual abuse.
According to insiders, the meeting with Epstein “would be a turning point for the Gates’ relationship with Epstein,” and Melinda confided to friends that she felt uncomfortable the entire time she was around him.
The New York Times reported that Gates and Epstein met at least six times since that encounter at Epstein’s New York mansion on ‘multiple occasions,’ staying at least once in the evening.
The meetings have probably been even more frequent, given evidence linking them closely on other matters as well. Such as that a Gates adviser, Boris Nikolic, was named by Epstein as an alternate heir in a will he amended just days before his death in August 2019 in a Manhattan jail cell.
Records also indicate that Gates flew with Epstein from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey to Palm Beach on March 1, 2013, on Epstein’s private jet, known as the ‘Lolita Express.’ That was “one of the few flights that year where pilot Larry Viskoski logged a passenger’s name,” the Daily Mail reported.
Even Gates Foundation employees also visited Epstein’s mansion on multiple occasions, according to newspaper reports:
“In late 2011, at Gates’ instruction, his foundation sent a team of people to Epstein’s home to have a preliminary talk about philanthropic fundraising, according to three people who were there. Epstein told his guests that if they looked up his name on the Internet, they might conclude that he was a bad person, but that what he had done, soliciting the prostitution of an underage girl, was no worse than ‘stealing a bagel,’ two of the witnesses said,” the New York Times reported.
These were just a few of the proven instances of the relationship that linked Bill Gates to Epstein since late 2011. Epstein also reportedly had a habit of bragging about being an unofficial advisor to Bill Gates, a claim the Microsoft founder’s representatives denied. But the Times report indicates that Epstein claimed to be a tax advisor to the tech mogul on several occasions.
Gates’ friendship with Epstein, who for years was accused of sexually abusing dozens of underage girls, still haunts Melinda, according to friends of the couple who spoke to The Daily Beast this week in light of the couple’s divorce announcement.
