Children’s TV shows are increasingly seeing the presence of LGBT-related characters and themes. According to a report by Entertainment Insider, this increase over the past decade is not a natural development but something ideologically driven and funded by entertainment networks and producers, to advance the LGBT agenda.

A report recently published by Entertainment Insider, highlights the LGBT penetration in children’s programming and explains that behind-the-scenes activists of this ideology have managed to do so in a planned way.

“The rise of gender-diverse representation isn’t a coincidence,” Insider reports. “Shows created and run by queer women, trans, and nonbinary showrunners are largely responsible for the influx of nonbinary and trans characters in kids’ animation.”

One way activists have been able to penetrate so deeply was through eliminating the typical merit-based hiring process and specifically looking for new staff who are, above all else, members of the LGBTQ community, the report notes.

One transgender showrunner, Shadi Petosky, told Insider that it’s not enough for LGBT activists to simply get roles within the entertainment industry, they must also ensure that pro-LGBT content appears on shows.

And this wasn’t easy, according to Petosky, who said, “There were arguments, battles and suspensions” throughout the production process. “I had to fight with the help of GLAAD (non-governmental organization in defense of LGBT ideology) to get the word ‘Pride’ to appear, instead of it being called ‘Rainbow Parade’ or something like that,” Petosky said.

According to the report, GLAAD has played a major role in convincing Hollywood to increase the representation of the LGBT agenda in television programming, and also major networks, including Nickelodeon, PBS, and Cartoon Network, have joined the collective effort.

The product of this planned, orchestrated and funded work can be seen today with a veritable wave of gay representation taking over children’s TV shows, with a 222 percent increase in LGBT characters and stories between 2017 and 2019 alone, Breitbart News reported in a timely manner.

In an Insider video on Twitter posted in June 2021, it found that gay content aimed at children had increased exponentially in just a few years:

The representation includes children’s characters with gay parents, transgender or gay characters, and stories about “inclusion” and sexual identity.

Gay culture has long been a part of children’s programming, Insider notes, adding, “But in the past decade, small-screen animation has undergone a noticeable shift. Representation in children’s cartoons, in particular, has increased in frequency, nuance, and overtness.”

Over the past decade, the children’s entertainment industry, along with countless stakeholders and institutions like GLAAD, have engaged in a concerted and unprecedented industry-wide effort to impose the most radical LGBT agenda on all children’s programming.

Today, it is virtually impossible to find a television series without a gay character or some LGBT-related theme. A review of content by Insider found at least 259 gay characters in cartoons and TV series aimed at children.
