Left-wing celebrities experienced a very emotional day on Wednesday, Feb. 5, as the Senate acquitted President Donald Trump on two articles of impeachment brought on by House Democrats.
While most of them were upset with the results of the vote, some found hope with Sen. Mitt Romney who was the only Republican senator to join the Democrats in the impeachment vote.
#Trump’s learned nothing from the experience of being impeached. He will continue his criminal ways & then double down, knowing he’s gotten away with it once again. He will be like Robert Mugabwe, dictator of Zimbabwe, who lasted 40 YEARS, dying at 95, with his nation in ruins.

So a widespread coverup blocked a bipartisan(!) vote to convict @realDonaldTrump and bounce him out of the WH as he rightly deserves. BIPARTISAN. Pure corruption. https://t.co/5mZ0XiPh6y

Thank you, @MittRomney, for doing what EVERYONE KNOWS is the right thing to do—in spite of peer pressure to do the wrong thing. History will look kindly upon you for choosing to protect America.

Thank you @MittRomney for putting #CountryOverParty & voting your conscience. Is there any doubt the outcome would have been much different had it been a secret ballot? #CowardlyGOP #HistoryIsWatching

Mitt Romney shows us all is not lost: ““My own view is that there’s not much I can think of that would be a more egregious assault on our Constitution than trying to corrupt an election to maintain power. And that’s what the president did.” https://t.co/lti4BhVcLi

Thank you @SenatorRomney for your political courage and for honoring your oath to the Constitution. Your colleagues will not be kindly looked upon in the history books of tomorrow.

These celebrities, a couple of hours before the vote, were praising House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for tearing up her copy of the president’s SOTU address. Far-left singer Cher went on an all CAPS LOCK, appears to condemn the president for having allegedly snubbed Pelosi during an attempted handshake before the speech started. The words she used were foul, we do not want to mention them here.
