On Tuesday morning, El Paso Sector Border Patrol agents arrested what they called “the biggest group of 424 illegal aliens” in the New Mexico border.

A few hours later, patrol agents near Antelope Wells, New Mexico, captured another 230.

Patrolling agents close to Sunland Park, soon after midnight on Tuesday morning, found more than “400 illicit aliens” who had just traveled from Mexico across the border. All migrants were rounded up and processed by the agents.

A few hours later, the count stood at 424, mainly migrants from Central America. Officials of the Border Patrol tweeted, “the largest group” of illegal aliens apprehended by Border Patrol agents.

While the officers processed the migrants of the Sunland Park, agents patroling the Camp Bound Forward base in Antelope Wells Port of Entry captured another large group of migrants from Central America. This group was arrested around 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning, and 230 illegal immigrants were arrested, officials said.

Officials from the El Paso Sector said that the two groups consist of Central American family units and unaccompanied minors, like many large groups of migrants.

On the same day, President Trump said: “Americans realize there is a crisis at the Southern Border. We are building the wall QUICKLY!”

Earlier, the President shared: “Border Patrol is reporting that more than 2,700 people tried to cross the border illegally by faking that they are part of a family unit. We need smart policies at the border NOW!”
